The matter between Blackburn Rovers FC and Chippa United FC sat for appeal before an arbitrator this evening, Sunday, 10 June 2012.

Blackburn Rovers had appealed against a ruling by the Premier Soccer League DC in their case against Chippa United. Following a complaint by Blackburn Rovers, Chippa United were charged with allegedly fielding an improperly registered player but the PSL DC ruled in Chippa United’s favour last week. Tonight, the Arbitrator upheld the PSL DC’s decision.

Consequently, the Promotional Play-offs that had been suspended will resume. The PSL will advise on the dates and times.
